Lily Jarman-Reisch’s poems appear or are forthcoming in Amsterdam Quarterly, CALYX Journal, Collateral, Fourth River, 3rd Wednesday, Light, Mediterranean Poetry, Mobius, New York Quarterly, One, One Art, Pangyrus, Plainsongs, Pushcart Prize XLVII (2024), Route 7 Review, Rise Up Review, San Pedro River Review, Slant Poetry, Snapdragon, and elsewhere. A 2024 Pushcart Prize recipient and 2023 Best of the Net nominee, she is a poetry reader for The Los Angeles Review and Contributing Editor of Pushcart Prize XLIX (2025).  She has been a journalist in Washington, D.C., and Athens, Greece, where she lived aboard a small boat she sailed throughout the Aegean and Ionian.  She has also held administrative and teaching positions at the Universities of Michigan and Maryland, sailed across the Atlantic (Spain to the West Indies), and hiked on four continents.  She graduated from the University of California, Berkeley, and has advanced degrees from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor.
