Richard Ekl

Hello everyone! I'm Ri (Richard) Ekl, an experimental poet inspired by the intersection of mathematics, physics and art. Born in Budapest in 1984, I was the only child of academic parents who encouraged my intellectual curiosity from an early age. Surrounded by books and scientific discussions, I developed a deep appreciation for both science and art.

My early fascination with mathematics and physics naturally evolved into a broader exploration of creativity. While my academic pursuits initially focused on numbers and theory, my heart was always drawn to artistic expression. This dual passion led me to experiment with ways of combining scientific concepts with poetic and musical forms.

Now living near London, I dedicate my time to creating poetry and music that challenges traditional boundaries. My work is known for its innovative structures and themes, often incorporating mathematical patterns and scientific principles. I strive to create pieces that not only convey emotion, but also provoke thought and encourage my audience to see the world from new perspectives.
