Author's Bio

Robert Eversz is the author of six novels that have been translated into 15 languages. His novels have been named to best of year lists at the Washington Post, Oslo Aftenposten, Manchester Guardian, BookPage, andJanuary Magazine. A graduate of the UCLA School of Theater, Film, and Television, Robert teaches advanced fiction workshops at the UCLA Extension Writers’ Program, and is a member of the permanent faculty of the Prague Summer Program, which he helped found. One of the country’s most experienced mentors in the pedagogy of writing the novel, he has served as the final judge for the AWP Award Series In the Novel and the Allegra Johnson Prize in Novel Writing, and has been Visiting Professor and Writer in Residence at Western Michigan University and Hood College.
