Riley Bounds is a poet, writer, and editor based in Mesa, Arizona.  A 2021 Pushcart Prize nominee, his work has appeared or is forthcoming in Presence: A Journal of Catholic Poetry, Earth and Altar, Ekstasis, Amethyst Review, and Heart of Flesh Literary Journal, among others.  His debut poetry chapbook, Hands of Years, was released in October 2021 by Kelsay Books.  He is Editor in Chief of Solum Literary Press, a Christian small press publishing poetry, fiction, homilies, and visual art.  This includes the quarterly imprint Solum Journal.  He holds an MA in Philosophy from Talbot School of Theology at Biola University and a BA in Creative Writing from the University of Central Oklahoma with hopes to continue into doctoral study.  He teaches English literature and composition at Lincoln Preparatory Academy.
