Crystal Simone Smith is a poet, instructor, and the managing editor of Backbone Press. Her work has appeared in Frogpond, Nimrod, Prairie Schooner, Callaloo, POETRY, and elsewhere. She is the author of three chapbooks, Routes Home by Finishing Line Press and Running Music and Down to Earth by Longleaf Press. She also co-authored the award-winning anthology, One Window’s Light: A Collection of Haiku.
