I am a native Pennsylvanian and have been writing fiction novels, short stories and poetry since 1995.

I obtained a degree in journalism and English and spent my entire professional career in the writing and communication fields.

My journey as a writer began in 1994 when i entered a manuscript into a contest sponsored by Lambda Rising Bookstore in Washington, DC. The manuscript came in second - enough recognition to get me noticed by Naiad Press Publishing and its senior editor, Katherine V. Forrest. 

I went on to write seven novels published by both Naiad Press and Bella Books.

​Short stories followed and were published in author anthologies edited and printed by both publishers.

​Poetry continues to be an ongoing creative journey born of love, loss and travel in the US and abroad.
