The ninth annual Broadleaf Writers Conference was held on September 21 and September 22 at the Decatur Library in Decatur, Georgia. The conference featured panels, first page critiques, and workshops for poets, fiction writers, and nonfiction writers, as well as individual pitch and mentoring sessions with agents and publishing professionals. The faculty included fiction writers Mary Kay Andrews, Andy Davidson, Julia Franks, and Anthony Grooms. Participating publishing professionals include editor Kate Marope (LCS Literary Services) and literary agents Stephanie Hollifield (Corvisiero Literary Agency) and Rebecca Rodd (Levine Greenberg Rostan Literary Agency). The cost of the conference was $225 ($200 for Broadleaf Writers members), which included a consultation with an agent or publishing professional. Additional consultations were available for $25. Single-day passes were also available for $150. The cost to attend the conference virtually was $150. Registration was rolling through September 20. Lodging was available at several nearby hotels.
