Residents are provided with a dorm room, a private bathroom, all meals, and a $1,000 to $1,500 stipend, depending on availability and the length of the stay. Residents also have access to the CSHL archives (by appointment only) and the opportunity to conduct one-on-one consultations with scientists on site. E-mail up to 10 pages of poetry or prose, including a brief statement about the work, a 2,000-word artist statement on the interplay between writing and science in your work, and a résumé.
