The Southern Vermont Writers’ Conference, sponsored by Green Mountain Academy for Lifelong Learning, was held from March 30 to April 4 at the Equinox Resort & Spa in Manchester, Vermont. The program included workshops, craft talks, readings, and faculty presentations for poets, fiction writers, and nonfiction writers, as well as a bookseller event at Northshire Bookstore and an author event at the Manchester Community Library featuring fiction and nonfiction writer Megan Mayhew Bergman. The faculty included poet Justen Ahren, fiction and nonfiction writer Chris Wells, and nonfiction writer Sari Botton. Tuition, which included meals, was $999. Lodging at the conference hotel was available at a nightly rate of $167. Writers registered by March 1. Visit the website for more information.
