The 2025 Bread Loaf Writers’ Conference will be held from August 13 to August 23 in the Green Mountains of Ripton, Vermont. The conference features workshops in poetry, fiction, and creative nonfiction, as well as lectures; craft classes; meetings with editors, agents, and publishers; and readings by faculty and guests. The faculty includes poets Ishion Hutchinson, Tomás Q. Morín, Valzhyna Mort, V. Penelope Pelizzon, Carl Phillips, and Paisley Rekdal; fiction writers Christopher Castellani, Stacey D’Erasmo, Danielle Evans, Amina Gautier, Mat Johnson, Victor LaValle, Claire Messud, Carter Sickels, Laura van den Berg, and Paul Yoon; and creative nonfiction writers Camille T. Dungy, Elisa Gabbert, and Marie Mutsuki Mockett. Tuition, which includes lodging and meals, is $4,250. Financial aid is available.
