Fifteen Authors in the Running for Los Angeles Times Book Prizes

The finalists for the Los Angeles Times Book Prizes were recently announced. Given for books published in the previous year, the annual prizes are worth $1,000 each. The winner in each category will be announced on April 28, on the eve of the eleventh annual Los Angeles Times Festival of Books.
