This month Dial Press will publish Josh Ritter's debut novel, Bright’s Passage, and introduce readers to what listeners of Ritter’s songs have been enjoying for some time. As Poets & Writers contributor Benjamin Percy writes, "Ritter’s songs sometimes feel like full-blooded fables and folk tales, and his novel has a similar vision, the vision of a disturbing and beautiful dream." Ritter's latest CD, So Runs the World Away, from which "The Curse" is taken, was released by Pytheas Recordings in May.
