The 2025 Kachemak Bay Writers’ Conference will be held from May 17 to May 20 at the Kenai Peninsula College campus in Homer, Alaska, with views of the snowcapped mountain ranges across Kachemak Bay. The conference features craft classes as well as craft conversations, readings, panels, and individual consultations for poets, fiction writers, and creative nonfiction writers. The faculty includes poets Geffrey Davis, Peggy Shumaker, and Annie Wenstrup; fiction writers Gabriel Bump, Peter Ho Davies, and Jasmin Iolani Hayes; and nonfiction writers Kat Chow, Alison Hawthorne Deming, and Ernestine Hayes. Participating publishing professionals include editor Karry Kirchner (Counterpoint Press) and agent Annie Hwang (Ayesha Pande Literary). Tuition is $425 with registration by January 21, $475 with registration between January 22 and April 30, and $500 thereafter.
