The Writers’ League of Texas (WLT) 2024 Agents & Editors Conference was held from June 21 to June 23 at the Hyatt Regency on Lady Bird Lake in Austin, Texas. The conference featured presentations, panels, authors in conversation, and a keynote address for fiction and creative nonfiction writers. Participating publishing professionals included agents Sarah Bowlin (Aevitas Creative Management), Jennifer Chen Tran (Glass Literary Management), Natalie Edwards (Trellis Literary Management), Cherise Fisher (Wendy Sherman Associates), Robert Guinsler (Sterling Lord Literistic), and Michaela Whatnall (Dystel, Goderich, and Bourret). The cost of the conference was $509 for WLT members and $569 for non-members. One-on-one consultations with editors and agents were available for an additional $50. Lodging was available at the conference hotel for a discounted nightly rate of $209 for a single- or double-occupancy room. Admissions were rolling through June 21.
