Amie Whittemore earned her M.F.A. from Southern Illinois University Carbondale, her M.A.T. from Lewis and Clark College, and her B.A. from the University of Illinois Champaign-Urbana.She teaches creative writing classes at WriterHouse, a nonprofit in Charlottesville, VA, in addition to marketing and tutor recruitment for Literacy Volunteers of Charlottesville/Albemarle.
