Amjed Qamar studied at The Ohio State University. She holds degrees in English and Psychology. Beneath My Mother's Feet is her first novel. It received a starred review from Kirkus Reviews, is a Junior Library Guild Selection, and a B&N Discover Great New Writer's Pick.
