Andres C Salazar

Andres C. Salazar was born in Northern New Mexico and is an alumnus of the University of New Mexico (UNM), After receiving his PhD in engineering from Michigan State University he worked in staff and executive positions at various telecom companies in the states of New Jersey, Massachusetts, Florida and Georgia. As an employee of the United Nations he consulted in 1975-6 with the Secretaria de Comunicacions y Transportes in Mexico City while also teaching at Escuela de Telecomunicaciones. He returned to New Mexico to become a chaired professor at UNM in 2002, continuing after 2007 to teach at Northern New Mexico College in Espanola and Southern Methodist University in Taos while remaining as a Research Professor at UNM. Author of numerous trade journal articles, he currently lives in Santa Fe.
