Author's Bio

Anne Marie Wells (she |they) is an award-winning Queer poet, playwright, and storyteller navigating the world with a chronic illness. She the author of Survived By: A Memoir in Verse + Other Poems (Curious Corvid Publishing, 2023) and Happy Iceland, winner of the inaurual Wanderlust Travel Book Award (Wild Dog Press, pending). She is the lead faculty member of the Community Literature Initiative DC Chapter and Strategic Partnership Fellow for The Poetry Lab. She lives in the outskirts of Washington, D.C.
