Author's Bio

Poetry is a path of practice, devotion, performance and community in my case. From years working at The Poetry Project at St Mark's Church in-the-Bowery in NYC to the founding and continuing work at the Jack Kerouac School of Disembodied Poetics at Naropa University in Boulder, Colorado. Cultural activism seems relevant and keeping the world safe for poetry. See links to Fast Speaking Music and website www.annewaldman.org
