Barbara Michelman

 I’m a photographer and writer with published credits in both mediums. A member of the Writers Guild of America and one of the first women in the  IATSE in film lighting  I also  ran a poetry series at the Berkeley Art Center for five years. On Amethyst Glass a poetry book  in collaboration with Rita Bregman published by Manto Press in 1999 is still online at Amazon. My poems  The Bottom Line  and On the Death of Alan Ginsberg and Other Irrelevant Events  both won awards. In 2022 On a Benediction of Wind  my book  with Charles Finn  won the Montana Book Award.
