VIVALDI'S VIRGINS, first published in 2007, has been translated into 12 languages and is still in print. It was chosen by Redbook as one of the 10 best books of summer 2007, was an Editor's Choice from the Historical Novel Society, a BookSense pick in the year it was published and highlighted in 2018 in a cover feature by BBC Radio Magazine as one of their favorite contemporary novels about composers. My first novel, NORTHERN EDGE, won the Discover: Great New Writers prize. My film treatment for my YA novel, A GOLDEN WEB, was a finalist for the 2012 Sundance/Sloan Commissioning Grant. My poetry manuscript, "Fanny Mendelssohn Catches a Glimpse of the Future" (now titled "Resurrection") was a finalist for the 2016 Washington Prize. Other poetry awards include an ancient Ina Coolbrith prize and an Artists International Dancing Poetry Award in 2019.) "What Disappears," my newest novel, will be published by Regal House Publishing in 2021.
