Author's Bio

Brendan Walsh has lived and taught in South Korea, Laos, and South Florida. His work has recently appeared in Glass PoetryIndianapolis ReviewWisconsin ReviewBaltimore Review, and other journals. He is the author of Make Anything Whole (Five Oaks Press), Go (Aldrich Press), Buddha vs. Bonobo (Sutra Press), and the only flesh to feed you (YellowJacket Press). He has been awarded a Fulbright Grant, several Pushcart Prize nominations, the Anna Sonder Prize of the Academy of American Poets, the Leslie Leeds Poetry Prize, and a Freedman Prize for poetry in performance. He earned his MFA from Southern Connecticut State University and has been a featured reader at The New American Writing Festival and the Sunken Garden Poetry Festival.
