Author's Bio

Carla M. Cherry is a high school English teacher and poet whose work has appeared in various publications. A Best of the Net and Pushcart Prize nominee, she has authored six poetry collections from iiPublishing: Gnat Feathers and Butterfly Wings (2021), Thirty Dollars and a Bowl of Soup (2021), Honeysuckle Me (2021), These Pearls Are Real (2021), Stardust and Skin (2020), and May He Bless My Name (2024). She currently has two chapbooks: Clap Your Hands, Stomp Your Feet (Grandma Moses Press) and Sundays and Hot Buttered Rolls: A Granddaughter of Harlem Speaks (Finishing Line Press), and a soon-to-be-published third: Warmed By The Sun, Chilled By The Breeze (iiPublishing).
