Author's Bio

Carol D. Marsh, a 2014 graduate of Goucher College’s MFA in Creative Nonfiction program, has essay awards from New Millennium Writings (2016), Under the Gum Tree (2017), and Soundings Review (2014). Her essays have appeared in Los Angeles Review’s Best of Annual print edition, Chautauqua Journal, River Teeth, and Lunch Ticket, among others. Marsh’s book, Nowhere Else I Want to Be: A Memoir, has won numerous prizes, including Finalist (Memoir) in the Sarton Women’s Book Award 2018, and Finalist in the Next Generation Indie Book Awards and National Indie Excellence Awards.
