Author's Bio

Carolina Hinojosa is a Chicana, Tejana, and Mujerista poet, freelance writer, and storyteller. Her work focuses on faith and social justice. Her work can be found in On Being, The Rumpus, The Acentos Review, Lookout Magazine, Rock & Sling: a journal of witness, and more. Her conferences and talks include, "A Theo(poet)ic Revolution: The Language of Liberation" at Women Doing Theology, and "Writing as Liberative Praxis: A Latina Narrative" at Gemini Ink Writers Conference. (Former names used: Carolina Hinojosa-Cisneros)

Her chapbook was published by FlowerSong Books titled, Becoming Coztototl. Carolina holds an MA in Literature, Creative Writing, and Social Justice from Our Lady of the Lake University.
