Cassandra Crossing immigrated to the US from Europe and now resides in the Chicagoland area. Poetry and writing have been her life-long dream. She writes from personal experience about love, despair, loss, and hope. Her work includes short stories, creative nonfiction essays, flash fiction, plays, and poetry. She’s also working on a few novels, novellas, and memoir, among them are Mommy's Journal and Imprisoned.
Her poetry and prose has been nominated for the Pushcart Prize and has been published in several literary journals and magazines like The Scarlet Leaf Review, Fresh.Ink Magazine, Unlimited Literature Literary Magazine (online & print), Ariel's Dream Literary Journal (online & print), Spark Literary Journal (in print), Beautiful Words by Ariel Publishing, by The Illinois State Poetry Society, and L.eX|Literary Excellence.
