Author's Bio

One of my favorite poems, "Ritual," which was about my Dad, appeared in "Shameless Hussy Review," Berkeley, California. My first short story "Color Test," won First Prize in "A Competition of the Imagination" contest, in Victoria, B.C. Canada, and I think I got $10.00! I was thrilled. I had my first poetry reading at an event held by The Feminist Writer's Guild of S.F. at The Bacchanal on Solano Avenue in Albany, CA. Later on two poems I had written on women and aging, were read on KEST 1450 radio in the Bay Area.
