Author's Bio

Christopher Martin is author of the poetry collection Firmament (Wandering Aengus Press, 2023), which received the Wandering Aengus Book Award, and the essay collection This Gladdening Light (Mercer UP, 2017), for which he received the Georgia Author of the Year Award in Memoir and the Will D. Campbell Award in Creative Nonfiction. Chris is also author of three poetry chapbooks and recipient of the George Scarbrough Poetry Prize. His work has appeared in On BeingShambhala Sun (now Lion's Roar), McSweeney's, Thrush, Ruminate, Still, Fourth River, Waccamaw, Sugar Mule, Menacing Hedge, Revolution House, Loose Change, and elsewhere.
