Author's Bio

Claire Guyton is an award-winning writer, editor, and part-time librarian. Her short fiction has appeared in Crazyhorse, Mid-American Review, River Styx, Vestal Review, Atticus Review, and many other journals, and in the Maine anthology Summer Stories. She has been a Maine Arts Commission Literary Fellow and a finalist for the Maine Literary Awards, and her work has been nominated for Best Small Fictions. She's the co-founder and -organizer of the reading series Local Writers Read, and the co-founder, -editor, and -publisher of the online magazine Waterwheel Review. She's currently revising a linked story collection and researching a novel inspired by five women who lived in 1890s Central Maine. Sample her work at claireguyton.com.
