Author's Bio

Colleen Rothman grew up in south Louisiana and lives in New Orleans. Her short fiction has appeared in Quarterly West, Maudlin House, and Tilted House Review, among others, with essays and criticism in The Atlantic, The Kenyon Review Online, Barrelhouse and elsewhere. In 2023, she received a Tennessee Williams Scholarship in fiction to attend the Sewanee Writers’ Conference and was a finalist for the Jesmyn Ward Prize. An associate series editor for the Wigleaf Top 50, Colleen is working on a novel and a short story collection.
