Author's Bio

Dan is the editor of ENSKYMENT, the international online anthology of contemporary poetry. He is also the first Poet Laureate of NY State's Rockland County, and was recently appointed Poet Emeritus at SUNY Rockland CC, after 53 years of service. He was the college's first Poet-in-Residence. During those years he also taught Poetry and Screenwriting at Manhattanville College on 18 years of Thursdays. His poetry events of all sorts exceed 1,000 to date. Early on, he was a jazz drummer, a radio DJ in Buffalo, and an NYC theatrical public relations executive. His 5th collection of poetry, Here We Are, was launched recently at the Grolier Poetry Press/Book Shop in Harvard Square.
He welcomes single poems from writers around the globe & emails them promply
with comments free of charge - a tradition he
has sustained for decades through his site
entitled Poetry Master. He also continues to
conduct poetry writing workshops with war
veterans in Rockland County, New York.
