Dana Crum

Dana Crum is author of the chapbook Good Friday 2000 (Q Ave Press, 2014). Twice he won the Eva Jane Romaine Coombe Writer’s Residency at The Seven Hills School, and also had residencies at the Vermont Studio Center and the Virginia Center for the Creative Arts. Crum won a seat at the Callaloo Creative Writing Workshop at Brown University and received a fellowship from Virginia Commonwealth University. The Paris Review Daily profiled him in 2013. His poetry and fiction have appeared, or are forthcoming, in Plume, Blackbird, African Voices, Carve, Tuck Magazine, The Innisfree Poetry Journal, Killens Review of Arts & Letters, North Chicago Review, Two Cities Review, The Source, Bronx Biannual, 64 Magazine, Gumbo: An Anthology of African American Writing and other publications. NPR affiliate WBEZ 91.5 FM Chicago broadcast a dramatic reading of his short story “My Heavenly Father” as part of its Stories on Stage program.
