Author's Bio

I am a Sierra Nevada poet and my work appears in "Yosemite Poets: A Gathering of this Place," "150 Stories in Yosemite," and "Yosemite: The Wonder of it All."
I have an MA in literature and have taught at Foothill College, Delta College and Metro State, Denver.
I have poems in Yosemite's two time capsules to be opened in 2090 and 2140.
I am a member of the Ina Coolbrith Circle in California.
I was nominated for a Pushcart Prize in Poetry by College of the Redwoods in 2015.
I have a haiku engraved aboard MAVEN, the Martian explorer orbiting the red planet.
I am a frequent reader on PoetsWest Thursdays, radio program on KSER-FM, Seattle, Washington.
