Author's Bio

Hello! I was born in Houston, TX to an Ecuadorian family. I'm a graduate from the University of Houston with a BA in English-Creative Writing and a minor in Medicine. In May 2016, I earned my MFA in Creative Writing from the University of Texas at El Paso's Creative Writing Program. I currently work for Lone Star College System. I am the author of young adult novels titled BEHIND MOUNT RUSHMORE, SUMMER CAMP IS CANCELLED, and HEAVEN ISN'T ME, published by Vital Narrative Press, an independent house in Memphis, TN.
