Author's Bio

I'm the author of six novels, most recently, Extraordinary October, my first for young adults.  I've had stories and essays in various anthologies and journals, including Salon, Conjunctions, Los Angeles Noir, MFA vs. NYC, and forthcoming in Prairie Schooner. I teach for Writing Workshops L.A. and I'm also an occasional contributor to the Los Angeles Times.
