Author's Bio

Diane Scharper writes a quarterly column reviewing memoir and biography for the National Catholic Reporter as well as reviews individual books for NCR. She is a frequent contributor to America Magazine (now Media) and the Weekly Standard for whom she reviews literary fiction. She is a long time contributor to Library Journal for whom she has reviewed 125 books of poetry. She specializes in anthologies and has collected, selected, and edited six books of essays, poems, and fiction.
