Author's Bio

Last academic year, I was elected Chair of Faculty Senate at Kent. This coming academic year I will serve as Interim Chair of the English Department. I enjoy this "politics," have come to it in part from my edited book "New Boundaries in Political Science Fiction" (2008) and have published a set of poems on academic politics in "Emanations." The work above is complete, and I have now more academic "politics" writings in "Emanations Second Sight," (2012). The editors at "Poetry South" also included some of my work in "Valley Voices," and I had a piece of creative non-fiction in the Great Lakes Writers Project.
