Have published 400+ poems in 150+ publications, with a chapbook "Bird Wings" (not subsidy) containing 50 lyrics on various birds. Latest poem published (11/6/12) is "Election Emotions" (on being on the losing side the day after) in Wisconsin State Journal, Florida Sun Sentinel, Baraboo News Republic, etc. Poems in literary magazines, mainstream, children's, including Yale Review of Law and Feminism, Christian Science Monitor, Lilith, Huron Review, etc. (Have also unpublished poetry collections: "Who Hides Here?" has poems with clues, reader to try to guess to whom poem refers; "The Maturing of Adam and Eve" on marriage; "The Word is a Bird" 150 poems on birds, "Four Lost Lovers" semi-narrative poems; and rhymed illustrated children's books "Pretty Me," "Why Am I Myself?")
Fiction in Mississippi Valley Rev., Nocturnal Lyric, Macfadden Women's Media (3 stories); sold story "Hans Nurnberg's Head" to Penthouse Magazine but true, newspaper-documented horror tale was not published, rights returned to me. (Have unpublished novels:"Through Annie's Eyes" on tiny Midwestern child in the Great Depression; "Campus Fairy Tale," "Sister Laura and Father Tim," "Criminal Love" young adult novel on bullying, "Being Dori." Also unpublishd short stories and story collections: "Tales of the Damned," "We Were 20th Century Women" with women through the decades showing change in women's status.)
Nonfiction in Milwaukee Journal Mag.; book "Seeking Promethean Woman in the New Poetry" was published by American University Studies and I have published 21 scholarly articles on Gertrude Stein, T.S. Eliot, Borges, etc. (Have an unpublished essay collection "Ma Had a Baby Girl.")

Taught creative writing, comparative literature and English composition at UW-Madison, UW-Baraboo, Madison College. Tutored and taught at a federal prison. Have a PhD in comp. lit., UW-Madison, studying experimental poems of 20' s& 30's.
Gave readings, read my works at conferences, gave poetry workshops, judged many poetry contests, edited for Cliffs Notes.
Personal note: Was caretaker for mate for the last few years but have lost him now and am returning to writing, hoping to publish many of my works. Would appreciate help of a good agent as I do not have one presently.
