Author's Bio

Doug Rice is the author of Here Lies Memory, When Love Was, An Erotics of Seeing, Between Appear and Disappear, Dream Memoirs of a Fabulist (Copilot Press); he is also the author of Blood of Mugwump, Skin Prayer, and A good Cu/tboy is Hard to Find. He co-edited Federman: A to X-X-X-X. His work has been published in numerous anthologies and journals including Avant Pop: Fiction for a Daydream Nation, Discourse,  Zyzzyva, Gargoyle, and Fiction International. His books have been translated into French, Spanish, German, and Polish. He has been an artist-residence at the Akademie Schloss Solitude in Stuttgart, Germany. He has taught at numerous universities including Kent State University-Salem, LaRoche University, Duquesne University, the University of Pittsburgh, and a university in Northern California.
