Dr. Michael Roberts is an English Professor in Myrtle Beach, SC. He has a PhD from North Carolina State University. He lectures, gives presentations, and serves on panels at national conferences on various subjects related to literature, writing, literary criticism, curriculum studies, and history. Among his subjects is the life and legacy of “Stonewall” Jackson, whom he has studied since elementary school. He attended armor school in Ft. Knox, KY, and served as a M1 tank crewman for 6 years. He travels to various historical forts and battlefields across the country with his wife, Angela, an elementary school teacher and children’s book author. Dr. Roberts is the father of two daughters, Cayce and Kathryn, whom he cites as the original inspirations for his creative writing.
