Author's Bio

Edgar Kunz is the author of two books: Fixer (Ecco/HarperCollins, 2023), a New York Times Editors' Choice Book, and Tap Out (Ecco/HarperCollins, 2019). He has been an NEA Fellow, a MacDowell Fellow, and a Wallace Stegner Fellow at Stanford University. His work has also been supported by fellowships and awards from the Academy of American Poets, the Hawthornden Foundation, the Bread Loaf Writers’ Conference, the Sewanee Writers’ Conference, and Vanderbilt University, where he earned his MFA. His poems appear in The New YorkerThe AtlanticPoetry, Oxford American, American Poetry Review, and elsewhere. He lives in Baltimore and teaches at Goucher College and in the Newport MFA.
