Author's Bio

Emily Mohn-Slate teaches creative writing at Chatham University. Her poems and essays have appeared in New Ohio Review, At Length, The Adroit Journal, Indiana Review, Crab Orchard Review, Tupelo Quarterly, Poet Lore, and elsewhere.

She is a graduate of the Bennington Writing Seminars (MFA), Boston University (MA), and Colgate University (BA). She lives in Pittsburgh, PA, where she has been part of the Madwomen in the Attic writing workshops at Carlow University since 2010. She is also Co-Director of the Social Change Semester at Carnegie Mellon University.
