Author's Bio

Gardner McFall is a poet, children's book writer, and librettist. Her book
of poems, The Pilot's Daughter, was the basis for her libretto, AMELIA,
commissioned by Seattle Opera and premiered there in 2010. She has taught at
Hunter College and the Cooper Union in New York City.
