Author's Bio

Hadley-James Hoyles is a poet, author, musician and teacher from North Yorkshire, currently resident in Leith.

His poetry has been widely published, in Journals including Poetry Scotland, MONO, The Metaworker, The Klecksograph and many others.

He is he inaugural Makar of Teviot Row House in Edinburgh, responsible for the e organisation and curation of poetry readings in Edinburgh, and has been a member of the famous Edinburgh Heretics since 2019.

He has performed his poetry across Scotland, showcasing work from both his debut pamphlet, Songs of the Hen Ogledd, and his debut collection, Ginnel and Snicket.
