Author's Bio

Heidi Reszies is a poet and transdisciplinary artist living in Richmond, Virginia. She received her MFA in Writing from the Vermont College of Fine Arts, and was a 2015 James Merrill Poetry Fellow at the Vermont Studio Center. Her poetry and poetics have appeared in journals including BOAAT Journal, Forklift Ohio, Jacket2, LEVELER, La Vague Journal, SUSAN/The Journal, Queen of Cups, Fog Machine, Dream Pop Press, Salt Hill, and The Volta. She is the author of Recollections & Reenactments (Zoo Cake Press) and Flowering Parts (Artifact Press). Her debut book Of Water  & Other Soft Constructions was selected by Samiya Bashir as the winner of the 2018 Anhinga - Robert Dana Prize for poetry and is forthcoming along with her poetry collection titled Illusory Borders (The Operating System) in 2019.
