Jack M. Freedman (Jacob R. Moses) is a poet/spoken word artist from Staten Island, NY. He penned the chapbooks ...and the willow smiled (Cyberwit, 2019), Art Therapy 101 (Cyberwit, 2019), and Seance (Cyberwit, 2020). His most recent book is Grimoire (iiPublishing, 2021). It is a full-length poetry collection written in the form of a book of spells.

Publications featuring his work span the globe. Countries include USA, Canada, UK, Ireland, Wales, France, The Netherlands, Ukraine, South Africa, Nigeria, Mauritius, Pakistan, India, Bangladesh, Iraq, Singapore, Thailand,Taiwan, and Japan. Under Jack and Jacob, he has over 200 published poems to his name.

An avid spoken word poet, Jack has performed in numerous venues across the Northeast. Some of these events include Staten Island-based festival, St. George Day, and LGBTQ+ themed comic book convention, Flame-Con. Other venues include Bowery Poetry Club, Nuyorican Poets Cafe, The Nevele Grand, and the Jersey Shore Arts Center. He is a veteran reader at the NYC Poetry Festival on Governors Island, having read in 2018, 2021, 2022, and 2024.

Additionally, Jack received a Masters in December of 2023. He holds an MA in English and Creative Writing - Poetry from Southern New Hampshire University. While at SNHU, he was inducted into the International English Honor Society, better known as Sigma Tau Delta.
