Author's Bio

James Onyebuchi Nnaji, Nigerian writer, poet and literary editor, studied English at the University of Nigeria,Nsukka where he also served as the Editor of The Muse journal of English and Literary Studies, Number 39,the University of Nigeria's literary journal founded 1963 by Chinua Achebe, the world renowned African writer. He writes poems that embody the eternal insecurities of man nothing on earth can cure.In the same vein, his poetry is a mimesis of the inherent tragedy of existence,"the blight man was born into",with ghostly influence of African oral narratives and mythic thinking, which like the spirit-child took flesh and dwells among us and shines new light on the human condition.

His poems have appeared in The White Wall Review,Down River Road,Bosphorus Review of Books,Hiram Poetry Review, Kalahari Review,Africa Writer Magazine, Cathalbui Poetry Competition 2021: Anthology of Selected Entries,Wreaths for a Wayfarer Anthology,Best New African Poets Anthology 2020,The Curlew Magazine,Drumtide Magazine,Praxis Magazine and elsewhere. His journalistic writings have also appeared in The Nation newspaper(Nigeria),USafrica Magazine(Houston Texas) and USafricaonline.
