Author's Bio

Jay Sizemore is a poet and author of 19 books of poetry and prose. His work has been nominated and a finalist for multiple contests and awards. Born and raised in rural Kentucky, in a town with one caution light and one convenience store, he learned to love reading and writing at an early age, because his imagination could take him anywhere.

This love has not waned in adulthood. You might say his love of language is almost as great as the love he has for his dog. Almost.

Now he lives and works in Portland, Oregon, where he lies awake and listens to it rain.
