Author's Bio

J.C. Mlozanowski is a writer and visual artist who enjoys exploring the intersection of text, art, nature and the human body. She earned her M.F.A. in Creative Writing and M.S. in English at Southern Connecticut State University. A Pushcart nominee, J.C.'s writing and artwork have appeared in a variety of publications. She is co-editor for Kin Press and the online journal Pith, and a rights management specialist at Wesleyan University. She also continues her long-time work as a transpersonal hypnotherapist and volunteer wildlife rehabilitator. Her most recent book is LIKE A PRAYER (under the pseudonym C.J. Hendrix), a contemporary young adult/new adult LGBTQ love story that journeys through the heartbreak of family dysfunction and unexpected loss.
