Personal Favorites

Favorite authors:
I am new to the poetry world and have found so many outstanding new and old poets that I can't profess to have a favorite right now. I last studied poetry in college in the seventies and so much has happened, so many great poets have come and gone. My childhood favorite was Robert Frost. I will always love Stephen Dunn as I taught his daughters to play piano for a time and have all of his books. I admire Seamus Heaney a lot, as well as Ted Hughes, Elizabeth Bishop, Fiona Sampson, and many more. But like I said, I am just realizing all the poetry that has happened while I was studying other things. I am like a kid in a candy store.
What I'm reading now:
and so wax was made and also honey by amy beeder, The Bravest Voices by Ida Cook
